Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Laminon UFH grid membrane?
The Laminon UFH grid membrane is a specialist printed material designed for use within the underfloor heating (UFH) market. It features a precisely printed 50 mm grid that allows accurate marking and measurement of the floor, helping you keep UFH pipe spacing even across the floor area.
How does the grid membrane help with underfloor heating installation?
The grid lines printed on the membrane act as a visual guide during installation. Installers can clip UFH pipes directly to the membrane at regular, measured intervals — removing guesswork, speeding up the installation process, and ensuring the spacing is even.
Is the Laminon membrane suitable for wet underfloor heating screeding?
Yes. The Laminon membrane is engineered to withstand the screeding process used in wet underfloor heating systems. It maintains its integrity while the screed is poured and cured, holding the pipe clips firmly in place so the pipe layout does not shift during the pour.
What sizes does Laminon grid membrane come in?
Laminon comes in 1.2 m wide rolls, 25 m or 100 m long. A full pallet holds 104 x 25 m rolls or 52 x 100 m rolls.
